What is the difference between Layby and Buy Now, Pay Later?
Layby is where you pay for an item in instalments and only receive the item once it is paid off. Buy Now, Pay Later is where you receive the item immediately and then pay it off at a later date. Consumer laws protect Layby sales but not Buy Now, Pay Later sales.
